Dear Residents!
The HOA Board is pleased to inform you that we are currently planning essential infrastructure improvements for our neighborhood. We are in active negotiations with several contractors regarding the restoration of worn sections of our roadways.
We have already received several competitive proposals for a project that includes:
• Targeted repairs and restoration of damaged road surfaces;
• Re-striping of designated parking stalls;
• Fresh marking of pedestrian crosswalks.

Community Roadwork and Striping Update
The goal of these improvements is to ensure the safety of our residents and maintain the overall aesthetic and property values of our community. We are currently evaluating the bids to ensure we select a partner who offers the best balance of quality and cost-effectiveness.
Once a contractor is selected and a timeline is finalized, we will provide a detailed schedule, including any temporary parking or access restrictions.
Thank you for your patience as we work to keep our neighborhood in top condition.
Sincerely,
Your HOA Board

Updated Information on Entrance Restoration and the Morris Road Project
Dear Hidden Forest Residents!
Due to the ongoing Morris Road widening project being undertaken by the City of Milton, the Board of Directors is diligently working on planning the restoration of the entrances to our community. Our goal is to ensure that Hidden Forest remains one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the area while responsibly managing the funds provided by the city.
Below is a structural overview of the current status and our plan of action for 2026.
Project Timeline and Coordination
To avoid wasting funds on materials that could be damaged by heavy equipment, our timeline is tied to the city's progress:
City Work Completion: The city plans to complete its work by the end of September 2026.
HOA Work Period: We are prohibited from performing work in the right-of-way until the city's work is complete. Therefore, we plan to begin soliciting formal bids (requests for proposals) starting in May 2026.

Entrance Design and Landscaping Elements
We are currently finalizing the "look and feel" of our new entrance. Key decisions include:
New Monument Sign: We are designing a new structure for the Hidden Forest sign. Materials under consideration include stone, brick, or wood, along with updated architectural lighting.
West Entrance: We are evaluating whether to rebuild the demolished wall or replace it with tall shrubs for privacy. We are obtaining estimates for both options to compare costs and aesthetics.
Restoration: We intend to restore the existing original walls, columns, and wrought iron fencing to seamlessly blend with the new construction.
Landscaping and Shrubs
Professional landscape design is being commissioned to ensure a lush and harmonious look for the entrance.
Designers: We are currently choosing between Pike Nursery and Gibson for providing professional drawings.
Approach: Major plantings along Morris Road will be delayed until the scope of the city's work is clear, ensuring we have enough space for the new greenery.
We’d love to hear from you!
